the 4th

So, for the fourth we went to the Rexburg parade and saw horses and cheerleaders and sweet muscle cars. Well, that's what Joe and Anderson would remember. Anderson's favorite thing were the cheerleaders. Makes sense though, since he loves music, he loves to dance and he loves girls. Doesn't get better than that! The horses were a plus, too. Joe had a great time drooling and naming off the make, model and year of the "sweet" rides as the rolled on by.

Later that night we went to the annual firework show in Idaho Falls. We walked around everywhere (and by so doing, decided that we definitely NEED a double stroller)
This is the same annual firework show that Joe and I had our first kiss. Strange to think that 5 years later we would be there again . . . with our 2 kiddos.
We had Emmett cuddle up with the blanket during the show but Anderson insisted that his face be uncovered so he could get a good view of the fireworks. He's already looking out for his little bro.

Anderson spent the whole time looking at the sky and with as much enthusiasm as he could manage, he'd breath out a big, (gasp) WOW!!!!
