Our little quirks

My boys add a level of humor to my life that no one but them can achieve. I just want to share some of their quirkiness with the world.

Anderson:

I'm guessing he'll have the most of the 2 boys. Just a guess.

*He refers to things in shapes.
*Cheeseburgers are known at our house as Circle Burgers with Square Cheese. Every. Single. Time. He's known to argue with me at McD's because I ordered it wrong.
*Cheerios are 'circle cereal with holes'. Chex are called 'square cereal'.
*Our church building is the rectangle building.
*Our tablet is known as 'The Big Black Game'. Say that fast 3x.
*The Nintendo DS is called 'The Small Black Game'.
*If he doesn't know the answer to a question, especially when he doesn't know someone's name he will call them "Coco."
*When he fills up his cup from the fridge water dispenser he has to count to 2 and hit the trigger for each count...confused, yet?
*He's still figuring out genders. He likes to give me what I call play-by-plays of Tatum's every move. He'll say, "Mom, Tatum's eyes are open. He's smiling, Mom!" The other day, I was swapping furniture from one room to another and I pinched my finger between the metal door hinges when attempting to remove the door. Yeah, it hurt! No bad words were said either. Yay for me! Funny part is, as I was screaming in pain, Anderson got scared so he ran to Joe and said, "DAD!! Mom hurt his finger!" Comic relief, right there.
*The absolute BEST is that he refers to himself in the 3rd person. Ie., "Anderson's hungry." "Anderson wants to play the big black game." "Anderson wants to watch t.v."

Emmett doesn't have as many quirky sayings but he's a funny kid in his own way.

*He announces he's a princess at least twice a day.
*He becomes attached to random items he finds around the house. This week he's been wearing link-a-doos on his wrists as bracelets. He has also been enjoying a handheld mirror that he stares into and casts lights up on the walls with it.
*He can't go anywhere without his 'sweeper' also known as a paintbrush. He's even taken one to nursery the last few times.
*He is extremely imaginative. He will tell me stories about princesses stuck in towers, evil witches and magic beans and potions.
*He announced today that he wants to be a Knight in shinning armour.
*Best of all, he calls Anderson . . . Wait for it . . . Emmett.

What a pair? One calls himself by his first name and the other calls the other his name. Now, that is confusion!
