Super Hero Princess . . . TO THE RESCUE!

It's a well known fact that Emmett's favorite place in my sister's house is, my niece, Manhattan's room. He will cry when we leave and have to take away the barbie he was been walking around with for the whole time we were visiting. He also loves princesses and therefore loves her princess and Tinkerbell room.  He loves the movie Tangled and will make believe about princesses when he plays. Sometimes he even tells me he's a princess. Alrighty. Well, we try and laugh it off. I think he's just a sensitive boy. He also loves super heroes and tells me on a daily basis he's Superman. We've even caught him with toys he's "borrowed" from his oldest cousin Bud that are super heroes. He especially likes Spider-man but mostly calls him Superman. I gather from this that he just likes pretty things and he will be an all around perfect man when he gets older. His dad is known to be a metro-sexual, so people shouldn't be surprised, right?

Uncle Jimmy decided to dress Emmett up in cousin Manhattan's Cinderella dress-up costume.

Well, Joe walked into my sister's house and saw Emmett on the couch dressed like this watching Cinderella (along with his finger nails painted!). Joe was not a fan of the idea so that night Joe and I sat down and googled dress-up clothes for boys.

TADA! Perfect Christmas Present! He runs around in these all the time now. He has Iron Man, Spider-man and Captain America. He just wanted a fun costume, poor guy!
